We met in an entrepreneurship class at the University of St. Thomas. For a class project we pitched an idea for a home cleaning company, and it never stopped feeling like more than an assignment. So we decided to build it for real.
Patrik Kilen is from St. Paul and is earning his degree in entrepreneurship. Blake Johnson is from Rockford, Minnesota, and is earning his degree in finance. Between the two of us we cover both sides of running a business well: the ideas and the numbers.
We built Johnson & Kilen from the ground up, from the first idea and the pricing to the website and the way every visit is done. Our names are on this company, and that is why we care so much about getting it right.
Our faith shapes how we work. We aim to be honest, respectful and dependable, and to do every job the right way. We started with home cleaning because we believe a clean home makes life better, and because we want to serve our neighbors well.
